Welcome to Connect Broomfield
Connect Broomfield is a program of the Broomfield Economic Development Corporation focused on outreach to existing Broomfield businesses and dedicated to connecting them with the resources, partners and services necessary to remain, thrive and grow in the City & County of Broomfield.
The Connect Broomfield program focuses on primary employers with the goals of:
- Developing an asset map of Broomfield – primary industries, matching resources and missing links.
- Responding to existing industry needs/problems.
- Developing a Red Flag Warning System for loss prevention.
- Encouraging and assisting industry growth and job creation in Broomfield.
- Exposing existing businesses to BEDC, resource organizations, BEDC investor organizations and to each other.
- Aligning Broomfield businesses and service organizations based on needs/desires…BEDC, City & County of Broomfield, Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, Front Range Community College, Workforce Development Center, Small Business Development Center, CAMT, trade organizations…etc., etc.
Connect Broomfield has a team of volunteers working with staff on development and execution of this results oriented effort. Specifically, Connect Broomfield Volunteers:
- Conduct an annual outreach program meeting with our existing primary employers to determine their needs/wants in continuing to operate and grow in Broomfield.
- Meet regularly to discuss results and develop future program goals.
- Communicate purpose and results, as well as advocate on behalf of the businesses we serve.
